Trails

The Cathedral of the Pines offers visitors a variety of different trails for their enjoyment and to explore the extraordinary sanctuary grounds.  Woven throughout our beautiful 236 acres two systems (West and East) offer a mix of hiking, exploring things like “dinosaur egg” and the “peace monument” or enjoying a picnic near Grassy or Emerson Ponds.  For those looking for a longer hike, the systems connect and cross Cathedral Road.

We are working to enhance the trails, improve our mapping, and to connect in with neighboring systems.  Feel free to visit this site for updates or email info@cathedralofthepines.com with suggestions.

NOTE:  Please take out what you bring in as we do not provide garbage cans or the like and the maintenance of the trails is performed by our volunteers.  Also, the trails are meant for the enjoyment of our visitors.  The trail system at the Cathedral of the Pines is offered without charge, allows users to enter at their own risk and is governed by the “recreational use” standards of the New Hampshire statutes including RSA 508:14; 212.34, 215-A:5-c; 215-C:55; 215-A:34; RSA 216-F:3 and RSA 212:34.
