Cathedral of the Pines

The tranquil beauty of the cemetery at Cathedral of the Pines makes it an ideal choice as a final resting place. Located in a park-like setting among evergreens and manicured gardens, it sits on a hillside just below the Altar of the Nation national memorial overlooking Grand Monadnock Mountain.

The cemetery is all-denominational and accepts all religions.

The cemetery's size limits it to cremated remains only. Bronze tablets (12" x 12") mark the grave sites. Each tablet bears the name, date of birth, and date of passing of the deceased. Additional wording up to twenty letters may be included. Inscriptions in excess of the twenty letters, or emblems, symbols, and other markings may be engraved on the bronze tablets at extra cost.

Memorial grave-side services may be held at the time of interment, and flowers may be placed at the site, but only live flowers (cut or potted). No artificial flowers or arrangements are permitted.

Upon purchase of a site, the Cathedral issues a Certificate of Ownership which gives the location of the plot, and outlines the provisions for perpetual care and maintenance by Cathedral staff. Please contact the Cathedral Administrative Office for the cost of a burial plot and associated fees.
